I plug in the charging cable but no battery symbol is displayed

LineGrip Knowledge-Base:

Check the USB cable and charger for proper function.
Check the USB jack on the LS3 for debris or corroded contacts.

One other option is a malfunctioning display driver chip.
In this scenario the battery symbol is actually displayed, or LS3 is running but the display stays blank.
This can be checked by turning the LS3 on, and then searching for it with the App. If the LS3 is running it will be listed in the found devices list.
In such a case the PCB must be replaced by a certified LS3 service partner (currently only CMC and LineGrip Corp.)
