Bluetooth Specs

The LS3 is equipped with a low energy Bluetooth Module BLE 5.0 (HY-40R204PC). It is BT5 and BT4 compatible, with a stable connection reach of up to 50m at direct (unobstructed) sight to the LS3 display.
Note that the display is the area that transmits the radio waves (because aluminum body shields them off). Therefore it is important to have an unobstructed view to the display whenever >20m BT connection reach is desired. Old smartphones with BT4 only can connect but will drain the LS3 battery significantly more, and will in most cases not be able to connect for distances >15m.
