Battery endurance
The LS3 max. battery endurance is about 50 hours @ 20°C, with max. power save setting, no bluetooth connection, and 10Hz scan rate.
Note: of course logs will continue to record during the power save cycle.
A typical average use scenario will yield about 30 hours @ 20-30°C for a “usual use scenario” with 40, 640, 1280Hz mixed scan rate, occasional log recording, occasional BT connection, and occasional power save off.
The battery symbol will start flashing once 20% or less battery power is left.
The battery circuit will protect the battery from deep-discharge, and power off the LS3 if the battery level drops below 3V to avoid battery damage.
The LS3 can then be powered on briefly, but will power off right away again.
